When he was a child than his favorite game is football, not Cricket, this is seeing clearly in his movie ( The MSD Untold Story). At a school time, he was doing goalkeeping for his own school football team. he was selected every year for his own school football team.
One day a cricket trial was going on his school than cricket coach also called MSD for trial for Wicket-Keeping. After the trial, he was also selected for the school cricket team, on this time the inter-school tournament is going on. In this tournament, he was doing a good performance.
Since that time his interest was increased day by day. since that time he was continuously doing hard labor. He stayed the whole day on the ground. after some years he was selected for
Vinoo Mankad Trophy U-16 in 1996-97 Since that time he was just in the 10th class. Not only he was selected for CCL ( Central Coal Fields Limited) team in 1998, by Deval Sahay. Since that time he was just in the 12th class.
When he was doing a good performance in the U-16 and CCL tournament, after that he was selected for Bihar U-19 ( Cooch Behar Trophy), In the 1998-99 season. During this time he did doing a TTE ( Travelling Ticket Examiner) railway job at Kharagpur Railway Station from 2001-03 ( West Bengal)
