Australia will host Afghanistan for a solitary Test match, which was postponed earlier, in November 2021 as per the settlement between Afghanistan Cricket Board and Cricket Australia.
The Test was initially scheduled to be held in November 2020, however, because of the COVID-19 pandemic, Cricket Australia called-off the Test and determined to carry it at a later date.
Afghanistan obtained Test standing in 2017 and has performed 4 Test matches thus far, successful two of them in opposition to Ireland and Bangladesh.
